Mexico published the National Radio Spectrum Program 2026–2030, establishing public policy priorities for efficient, equitable and inclusive management of the radio spectrum to expand telecommunications, broadcasting, broadband and internet access nationwide. The Program sets three main objectives: promote infrastructure deployment and connectivity, support sustainable telecom and broadcasting services for Indigenous and Afro-Mexican communities, and modernize spectrum management through new technologies, shared/dynamic spectrum use, satellite services, regulatory sandboxes and stronger monitoring against harmful interference.
