GCC – Updated Requirements on Recognition of Test Reports for G Mark Certification

​The GCC Standardization Organisation (GSO) has issued an announcement regarding Updated Requirements on Recognition of Test Reports for G Mark Certification. Key points of this announcement include: – Maximum acceptance period for test results is limited to 3 years for all Notified Body certification procedures required by GSO Technical Regulations (Toys, Low Voltage Equipment, Water Efficiency Label). Note: For Low Voltage Equipment this constitutes a significant change, as previously no such period was defined in the scheme rules. Effective Date: July 30, 2024 – Traceability of the test reports to the products applied for certification – Detail requirements for acceptance of “Product Identity Declarations» (PID) or “Declarations of Identity» (DOI) Please find the announcement in full text attached and contact us for any questions you may have in this regard.
