Argentina – Decree 892/2025

​Decree 892/2025, published on December 17, 2025, establishes that imported goods meeting technical and quality standards recognized in Argentina or certified by accredited international bodies can be imported and sold without additional local testing or certification. The decree aims to simplify international trade, reduce bureaucratic barriers, and promote Argentina’s integration into global markets while ensuring public health, safety, and product quality. It will take effect 60 days after publication (February 15, 2026), with specific provisions requiring additional regulations to be issued by the Secretariat of Industry and Commerce.​
