On15 July 2026, the Members of the Legal Affairs Committee will vote on the legislative report Amending Regulation (EU) 2019/1753 as regards amendments adopted by the Assembly of the Lisbon Union on 14 July 2025 to the Common Regulations under the Lisbon Agreement on Appellations of Origin and Geographical Indications (2026/0044(COD)). Additionally, JURI Members will adopt two opinions on the legal basis at the request of EMPL and SEDE/IMCO committees.
At the same meeting, JURI members will exchange views on the own-initiative report on Monitoring the application of European Union law in 2026 (2026/2061(INI)) and will consider the draft report on the 28th regime corporate legal framework – ‘EU Inc.’ (2026/0074(COD)). Finally, the Members will hear and hold an exchange views with Maria Luís Albuquerque, Commissioner for Financial Services and the Savings and Investments Union, on the delegated acts on revised European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and on the Standards for Voluntary Use.
