On 14 June 2022, the JURI Committee voted on the draft recommendation on Annex to the Proposal for a Council Decision on the accession by the European Union to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters (2021/0208(NLE)). The Committee also held a hearing on Recognition of parenthood in EU.
Further, the Members held an exchange of views with António Campinos, President of the European Patent Office (EPO). During the afternoon session, they heard the reporting back from JURI rapporteur on the negotiations on Gender balance among non-executive directors of companies listed on stock exchanges (2012/0299(COD)). Finally, they will hold a hearing on Public international law protection of property rights and the question of future reparations and reconstruction in Ukraine.
