The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing Significant New Use Rules (SNURs) under TSCA for certain chemicals that were previously reviewed through PMNs and are already subject to EPA Orders. Companies intending to manufacture, import, or process these chemicals for designated significant new uses must notify EPA at least 90 days before starting. The activity cannot begin until EPA reviews the notice, makes a determination, and completes any required regulatory action.
