Thailand – Draft Notification of the Committee on Labels

​Thailand Office of the Consumer Protection Board announced Draft Notification of the Committee on Labels, entitled the Quality of the Commodity Label is Subject to the Controlled Label. This Regulation requires the labelling of label controlled products produced in Thailand or imported for sale in Thailand to contain information such as: – Name or type of product – Manufacturer and importer’s name or registered trademark – Name of the manufacturing country – Dimensional information of goods – Usage and storage instruction-Warnings, Contraindications, or cautions – Manufacturing date and expiring date – Price The content on the product label must be clearly visible and legible Proposed date of adoption: To be determined Proposed date of entry into force: After 120 days following the date of its publication in the Government Gazette Final date for comments: 60 days from notification​
