The Saudi Standards and Quality Organization (SASO) has prepared the draft Standard «Electrical Dishwashers – Energy and Water performance requirements and labelling», based on relevant International and National Foreign Standards and references. This standard specifies the energy and water performance, and labelling requirements for household dishwashers, including built-in household dishwashers and electric mains-operated household dishwashers that can also be powered by batteries with a capacity of up to 20 place settings, in order to carry a valid energy efficiency label.
