This project establishes maximum emission limits for total hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen oxides from the exhaust of new gasoline motorcycles. It also defines the requirements for integrated on-board diagnostic systems to monitor these emissions. Finally, it outlines the standards for emission control systems and the certification of origin necessary for compliance.
