Egypt notified WTO on August 22, 2022. The Ministerial Decree No. 381/2022 gives manufacturers and iimporters a six month transitional period to abide by the following percentages of lead: – The percentage of lead in non-colored base paints do not exceed 100 parts per million(maximum). – The percentage of lead in colored paints do not exceed 5000 parts per million (maximum).
