Chile – Draft Protocol Sets out Energy Efficiency Requirements of a Double-cap LED Lamps

​The draft protocol was published on June 20, 2022, by Chile SEC(Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels​).​ This protocol establishes the Energy Efficiency certification procedure for the electrical product Double cap Led Lamp, for general lighting purposes, designed to replace luminaires that use linear fluorescent lamps and that have the following characteristics: -G5 and G13 bushings -Rated power up to 125W -Rated voltage up to 250V For purposes of evaluating the product in energy efficiency, the conditions, tests and analyzes of the IEC62612: 2018 standard are applied.​ Final Date for comments on WTO: August 30, 2022.
