This draft protocol establishes the safety certification procedure for the electric product hand drill and impact drill, whose nominal voltage is not higher than 250 V for AC, or 75 V for DC, and a maximum power of 3700 W, according to the scope and field of application of IEC62841-2-5:2014. It does not apply to rotary hammers, screwdrivers or impact wrenches.
