USA – Removal of Obsolete or Unnecessary Requirements

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (Commission or CPSC) is reviewing its regulations to reduce regulatory burdens and costs. ​Pursuant to this review, CPSC has identified several obsolete or unnecessary provisions that are being removed or amended in this direct final rule. The changes in this rule will not affect consumer safety. Products covered : Bicycle helmets, chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) aerosols, antennas, and coal/wood-burning appliances.
