On 19 January 2026, the Members of the Legal Affairs Committee will vote on two oral questions to the Commission on the accession of the Republic of Albania and the accession of Montenegro to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters.
The JURI Committee will also hold, jointly with the LIBE Committee, an exchange of views with Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection Michael McGrath, on the Justice programme for the period 2028-2034.
