On 11 December 2025, the Members of the Legal Affairs Committee held an exchange of views on the committee’s opinion to BUDG committee’s Interim report on the proposal for the multiannual financial framework for 2028-2034 (2025/0571R(APP)). At the same meeting, JURI Members voted on the adoption of the report on the 28th Regime: a new legal framework for innovative companies (2025/2079(INL)) and on harmonising certain aspects of insolvency law (2022/0408(COD)).

The JURI Committee voted and heard on the reporting back on the negotiations pursuant to Rule 75(3) RoP, regarding the legislative report on the amending Directives 2006/43/EC, 2013/34/EU, (EU) 2022/2464 and (EU) 2024/1760 as regards certain corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence requirements (2025/0045(COD)).
