South Korea – Revision of National Standards in the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Sector

​The National Radio Research Agency (RRA) has announced the revision of national standards in the broadcasting and telecommunications sector, following the deliberation of the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Standards Council. These revisions aim to update and improve existing standards to align with technological advancements and ensure compliance with current regulations in the broadcasting and telecommunications fields. KS X 3036: Measurement methods for grounding resistance of broadcasting and telecommunications equipment. KS X 3039-1: Characteristics of aerial optical cables. KS X 3039-2: Characteristics of optical cables for ducts and tunnels. KS X 3039-3: Characteristics of indoor optical cables. KS X 3123: Conformity assessment testing methods for wireless equipment. KS X 3232: API for biosecurity tokens. KS X 3236: Methods for utilizing block ciphers in TLS and SRTP with ARIA. KS X 3253: Accessibility guidelines for mobile application content. KS X ITU-T P.57: Artificial ear for measuring call quality.
