On January 1, 2026, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) published a notification to extend the last date of implementation of IS 16103 (Part 1): 2025 / IEC 62031:2018. It has now been decided to extend the last date of implementation of IS 16103 (Part 1): 2025 / IEC 62031: 2018 till July 21, 2026.
