In April 2024, Oman Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIP) has adopted the Gulf Technical Regulation for water conservation products ( MC-230503-01 ), as Omani technical regulation. The regulation applies to following types of products. Detailed product list is provided in Annex 1 of regulation: – Water taps – Shower mixers – Urinal systems – Water closet tanks This regulation will come into force for Oman market from January 28, 2025.
