The Mexico Federal Telecommunications Institute, convinced of the importance and relevance of making its regulation modification process transparent, will receive comments, opinions and contributions from any interested person (physical or legal) regarding the «Preliminary Draft of Agreement by which the Plenary Session of the Federal Telecommunications Institute modifies the Guidelines for the approval of products, equipment, devices or devices intended for telecommunications or broadcasting». The main objectives of the Preliminary Project consist of modifying the Guidelines for the approval of products, equipment, devices or apparatus intended for telecommunications or broadcasting, with the purpose of: i) make express reference to the requirement of the IFT Seal as an additional element in the marking or labeling, in accordance with the provisions of the Guidelines for the use of the IFT Seal on products, equipment, devices or apparatus intended for telecommunications or broadcasting approved; ii) expand the printing option of the IFT Seal, so that it can be done physically or electronically in order to reduce the adaptation times of the Products to comply with the provisions of the Homologation Guidelines, and iii) consider the variety of Products to which the marking or labeling, physical or electronic, applies, so that there is no doubt regarding the application of the Approval Guidelines.
