South Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety proposed Revision of the «Labeling Standards of Foods, Etc. The proposed amendments are to: – Enable alcohol producers or importers to label only calorie on their products when they voluntarily provide consumers with nutrition information; – Establish the standards of labelling «non-addition of sodium» or «unsalted»; – Revise the standards of tolerance range for lower value of nutrition components in foods.
