The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) pre-announced draft amendments to the «Regulations Governing the Use of Product Inspection Marks». Key changes involve simplifying the inspection mark process for goods like fire doors, allowing businesses to self-print them. It also eases conditions for vendors to regain the right to pre-purchase marks (from five-fold quantity to three consecutive passes) , and removes the requirement for issuing a return certificate when marks are returned. Public comments are accepted for sixty days.
