The Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) has announced the certification criteria for Excellent Design of Plastic Circularity, along with the launch of a system in which the competent authorities certify particularly excellent Design for the Environment (DfE) initiatives that comply with the Guideline for DfE. Japan will establish certification criteria for four items.
