On February 18, 2025, Indonesia Directorate General of Digital Infrastructure (DJID) issued a decree for telecommunication equipment based on global system for mobile communications (2G) and international mobile telecommunications-2000 (3G) standards. This decree will come into force on August 18, 2025.
